Privacy

Loitr is not live yet. This site sets no cookies and collects no personal data.
What the app will collect
- Your email address, to sign you in with a link (no passwords).
- Your name, birth year (to confirm you are 18+), optional gender, and what you say you are into.
- Photos and videos you take in the app. Feed posts disappear after 24 hours; originals are deleted after 30 days.
- Your approximate location (about 100 metres), only while the app is open. Never in the background.
- Messages, kept for 12 months; either person can delete theirs sooner. Direct messages are not scanned; they are only opened by a reviewer if reported.
What we never do
- We do not scan, match, identify or estimate the age of faces.
- We do not sell your data or show advertising networks.
- We do not show your channels on your profile.
Sensitive information
If you choose to tell us you are here for dating, we ask for your separate, explicit consent first. You can withdraw it at any time in settings and that information is deleted.
Analytics
The app uses privacy-friendly product analytics under a pseudonymous id, without your name, email, content or precise location. You can switch it off in settings.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data. Account deletion removes your data within 30 days. Contact details will be published here before launch.
